Five years that turn early readers into confident learners. Daily literacy and mathematics, science and social studies, art, music and physical education, on American curriculum standards with Arabic taught alongside English.
Class teachers lead the core subjects and get to know each child well; specialist teachers take Arabic, physical education and the arts. Assessment is continuous, so a child who needs help in reading or number is noticed early and supported, and a child who is ready for more is stretched. Parents see homework, quiz results and term report cards in the CEMS Portal app.
Students follow American curriculum standards in English while meeting the Lebanese curriculum requirements in Arabic and social studies. Neither is an add-on; both sit in the same weekly timetable so that students progress in both without extra hours.
Students join CHS at every grade from 1 to 5, from Lebanese, American and other international schools. A short placement assessment in English, Arabic and Mathematics shows the teacher where to start. See the admissions steps.
Grade 5 leads into Middle School on the same campus, where subject specialists take over and students begin to work more independently.
