Grades 9 to 12 lead to the American High School Diploma, with College Board Advanced Placement courses, Cambridge International recognition and the Lebanese requirements met, plus university guidance and career counselling from Grade 10.
High School at CHS is an American-curriculum programme taught in English, with Arabic as a core subject and the Lebanese curriculum requirements met alongside. Students earn credits across English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arabic and electives, and graduate with the American High School Diploma, accepted by universities in Lebanon and abroad.
From Grade 10, students and parents work with the school on the questions that matter: which universities, which majors, which tests, and what the transcript needs to show. CHS supports SAT preparation, application essays, recommendation letters and deadlines for universities in Lebanon, the region, Europe and North America.
Small classes mean teachers know their students' strengths and plans. Students take part in projects, presentations, sports and school events, and older students are expected to lead. The CEMS Portal app keeps parents informed of attendance, grades and homework through to graduation.
Students transfer into CHS High School from Lebanese-curriculum, American and other international schools. Previous credits are reviewed, and the placement assessment in English, Arabic and Mathematics helps the school build a plan to graduation. See the admissions steps.
